Laura Skaggs Dulin, MS, LAMFT

Laura Skaggs Dulin was born and raised in Southern California. She holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy from San Diego State University with an emphasis on therapies suited to multicultural contexts. She also holds a Bachelor degree in social work from Brigham Young University.  Laura completed her MFT traineeship working exclusively with victims of complex traumas such as sexual abuse and physical assault. She has also trained for two years at the Institute for Cognitive Therapy treating mood disorders, substance abuse and domestic violence. Additionally, Laura has worked for a year in London, England as a drug and alcohol social worker and also in Nashville, TN with youth in the juvenile justice system. Laura currently serves on the board of directors of Affirmation LGBT Mormons, Families and Friends support community. She and her husband, John, are the parents of two children who they trek back and forth to Africa for John’s cultural anthropology research.
